For the Cashland company, 2011 was a very good year but the company is expecting an even better year in 2012. The Cashland company reported a record number of online applications last year which totaled to over one million dollars. This was a fifteen percent increase from 2010. The company attributes this record number of online applications to the company’s recently streamlined and easy online loan process. However, while many financial experts agree that the company’s easy online process was indeed a contributing factor to last year’s high number of applications, they also believe that these high numbers was a direct reflection of the economy. In other words, these many people would not need a cash advance loan if the unemployment rate was not so high and the economy was stable. Based on the current economic conditions, most financial experts predict that the Cashland company will have another record year of online applications.
